  10. Seniors aged 80 to 89 are invited to submit a brief biography and a photo to the church secretary for consideration in the Bethesda Herald Newsletter.
  11. Everyone is advised to exercise caution during times of celebration.
  12. Youth Choir – Youth Choir ministers on the 3rd Sunday.  If you are in grades Sixth (6th) to Twelfth (12th) and you’re interested in becoming a member of the Youth Choir Ministry, please contact Sister Gwen Smith.
  13. Dr. Charles Cuthbert Scholarship ($750) – Honoring Deacon Wesley Smalls
  14. Montford Point Marine Association, Chapter 9 of Beaufort Scholarship – 3 Beaufort County High School and 1 Jasper County High School – Applications Due by May 31, 2025 – Pick up in Guidance office
  15. The Young Men’s Social Club of Saint Helena is offering four (4) scholarships to high school seniors who will be attending college this fall.  Information is posted in the administration area.
  16. The Bethesda Newsletter would like to highlight our senior saints in the upcoming months and will be reaching out to family members of senior saints.

  20. Training for Broadcast, Sound, Preparing Messages for Radio Broadcast, and Livestreaming Ministries will take place soon. If you are interested in being trained, let the church secretary know.
  21. Beginning February 2nd, members are free to attend worship service any Sunday.Masks are required and must be worn appropriately at all times.

    Doors will be secured at the beginning of service.

    Worship services are open to visitors when accompanied by members of Bethesda Christian Fellowship.

    No sit-down meals will be served.

    • Masks are required and must be worn appropriately at all times.
    • Service will be held indoors.
    • The Kitchen Ministry will accommodate families requesting assistance with the repast. All meals will be prepared to go.
  23. “Say It Loud Essay” – THEME: “Local Legends” – Open to Bethesda Christian Fellowship Students Grades 4th through 12th – Must Be Written by the Child – Deadline for Submission of Essays – January 26, 2025 – Date for Presentation of Essays to Begin Will Be Announced

  25. Coming in January –The next “Say-It-Loud Essay” round begins.  Young people are encouraged to start thinking, writing, and organizing their thoughts.
